Privacy Notice

Off Screen Global, Inc. is the controller of the personal data processed on rideMULTIPLIED. This notice explains what we store, why, who can see it, and how you stay in control.

Last updated 9 August 2026

1.Who is responsible

Off Screen Global, Inc., a Delaware C Corporation (EIN 61-2290414). Data questions: privacy@ridemultiplied.com.

2.What we store

  • Account: email address, sign-in method, and account timestamps.
  • Profile: name, headline, home city, home airports, traveller category, company name, travel and safety preferences, optional LinkedIn or Instagram links you add yourself.
  • Work-email verification: your work email is stored as a one-way hash together with a verification code, not as readable text on your public profile.
  • ID verification: the document you upload is kept in a private storage bucket, visible only to reviewers, and deleted after review.
  • Trips: hub, date, flight or train number, terminal, direction, destination area, seats, luggage, cabin-only and immigration flags, vehicle type and notes.
  • Ride activity: join requests, participants, ride chat messages, ratings and reviews, completion confirmations, safety check-ins and incident reports.
  • Network: connections created by invites and completed rides, used to show 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree and shared-connection counts.
  • Ride Credits: your balance and the transaction ledger behind it.
  • Technical: session cookies, and — only with your consent — preference and analytics data.

3.What we never show publicly

  • Your exact home or office address. Destinations are handled as broad areas, never a precise address on a public card.
  • Raw ID documents. They are never visible to other travellers.
  • Your work email in readable form. Only the verified badge and company name are shown.
  • Your email address, phone number and ride history.

Aggregate demand figures — how many travellers are on a service or heading to an area — are counts only, produced by database functions that never return names, and any map view is snapped to a coarse grid so an origin cannot be traced to an address.

4.Why we process it (legal bases)

  • Performance of a contract: creating your account, matching rides, running ride chats and Ride Credits.
  • Legitimate interests: trust and safety, verification, fraud and abuse prevention, and keeping the platform working.
  • Consent: preference and analytics cookies, and optional communications. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation: keeping records we are required to keep, and responding to lawful requests.

5.Who sees what

  • Hosts see the requests sent to their ride: the rider's public profile, seats, luggage, speed flags and message.
  • Riders see the host's public profile, verification badges, vehicle type and flight or train number for the ride.
  • Other travellers see only aggregate counts, never your trip list.
  • Social links are visible only where you added them yourself. We never import contacts or connections from any third-party network.
  • Our reviewers see verification documents and safety reports when handling them.

6.Service providers

We use a small number of processors to run the product: cloud hosting and the managed database, authentication and file storage, email delivery, and a payment provider operating in test mode. They act on our instructions under a data-processing agreement. A current list is available on request at privacy@ridemultiplied.com.

7.International transfers

We are a US company. Personal data of EU and EEA travellers may be processed in the United States, relying on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with technical measures such as encryption in transit and access controls.

8.How long we keep it

  • Account, profile and ride history: until you ask us to delete your account.
  • ID verification documents: deleted after the review decision.
  • Ride chat messages: kept with the ride record so both sides can refer back to it.
  • Safety and incident reports: kept as long as needed for safety purposes.
  • Technical and analytics data: short-term only.

9.Cookies and similar technologies

  • Strictly necessary: session and authentication cookies. Always on — the product cannot work without them.
  • Preference: remembering your choices, such as the cookie banner decision itself.
  • Analytics: aggregate usage measurement. Off until you accept, and you can change your mind at any time.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

10.Your rights

If you are in the EU or EEA (and in many other places, under comparable law) you can ask for:

  • Access to the personal data we hold about you, and a copy of it.
  • Correction of inaccurate data — most of it you can edit yourself in your profile.
  • Erasure of your account and data.
  • Portability of the data you provided to us.
  • Restriction of, or objection to, processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Withdrawal of consent for cookies or optional communications.

Write to privacy@ridemultiplied.com and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection supervisory authority.

11.Children

rideMULTIPLIED is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

12.Changes

If this notice changes materially, we will tell you in the app. Terms of Service
